Valhalla Java Review
Doing a sincere coffee review requires more than just taking a sip. It often requires comparing to other similar products, a blindfold, and a good methodology. In this case, I did some research to see if I share any of the same “deathly” experiences as others who have drunk this godly nectar.

Smell, slurp and spit (the usual in coffee tasting). From my personal cupping experience, this medium-dark three-roast coffee has a bold but smooth body. Compared to other dark roast coffees I’ve tried before- usually full-bodied with a smoky texture on the palate -this Death Wish Blend came in strong but smooth.
This product has nutty and chocolatey undertones and a very mild after-taste. When you compare it to the flagship Death Wish coffee, it is less bitter. Though, you can really feel that sudden strong kick of caffeine in the first cup.
Given that the Valhalla Java Odin Force coffee blend is the world’s strongest coffee. Be warned as this product’s caffeine content is 660 mg per 12 fl oz, which is two steps down from the caffeine content of the pure Death Wish joe. It is certainly a “deathly roast.”

Deathwish recommends 2.5 Tbsp per 6oz water on their website.
You can enjoy a cup of this product in a hot or cold brew. It’s just a matter of adjusting your grind.
Adding creamer or sugar to enhance the overall flavor of the Valhalla is a thumbs up to Odin. But if you’ll indulge it in the simplest way, you’ve gained Odin’s and Zakk Wylde’s utmost respect.
When it comes to brewing methods – whether you prefer grinding your blend by auto-drip, French press, or espresso – it doesn’t matter. Valhalla Java Odinforce Blend – Whole Bean Version
The Odin force whole beans are the blackest that you’ll see for a coffee bean. If you’ll look closely at the beans, you’ll see it’s not brown or dark brown. It is literally black. In terms of smell, it’s more aromatic than the ground-type, where its scents explode just after opening the package.
The Valhalla Java whole beans are less oily but rest assured that they won’t affect the overall taste of the product. However, I highly discourage brewing this coffee on an automatic grinder-type of the coffee maker. While you may not notice any issues at first, over time the oils from this roast will accumulate and cause your machine to not work to its optimal ability and may need some deep cleaning as a result.
