This palm tamper has a low-profile design that facilitates the barista’s ability to tamp with a straight arm at a 90-degree angle to the counter. This feature not only ensures an even distribution of coffee grounds but also provides a larger flat surface area for applying tamping pressure with the palm of the hand, allowing control and consistency when tamping.
