   This calculator is great for someone who is always experimenting with different brewing methods like I am. I’ve been using my memory and a scale to measure my coffee and water, but this takes out all the guesswork. And it’s really interesting to see the different ratios for each type of brewer on this page — I never would have guessed that a Moka Pot would have such a strong ratio compared to an Aeropress. Thanks, Tom, for creating this nifty tool.

   I have been doing coffee pour overs to expresso for about 25 years but I’m trying to get an easy chart that will show ratios for 1:15.75 & 1:17.75 using 15g,20g,25g 30g, and 60g
   I’m wondering if you would be so kind as to maybe steer me to a place where I can see those charts or if you could answer those for me. I have been housebound being very ill for the past two decades I keep trying to look them up but I can never find them and my math well let’s not discuss that.
   Could you answer why a lot of these ratios have either a a.75 or .2 or .5 following the main number like 1:15.2 I’m really trying to figure this out easily but it just doesn’t come to me I would appreciate any help you can steer me towards, :⁠-⁠)

      I’m not aware of any reason to add decimals to a ratio. So for example, having 1:15.75 vs 1:15 makes no sense to me. No human would taste the difference. Our coffee ratio calculator uses these round numbers as well.
      As for the chart, you can create is using the values in the calculator above. Or an excel file 🙂
