- 60 ml espresso (2 shots)
- 200 ml steamed milk
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
Optional
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp whipped cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Brew 2 shots of espresso (doppio) and set it aside to cool slightly.
Steam milk any way you like. If you don't have a milk steamer, it's easiest to use a small saucepan and heat the milk over medium heat until it's scalding.
Add half of the chocolate syrup and optionally the sugar to your mug. You can substitute the chocolate syrup with cocoa powder.
Gradually pour the brewed coffee into the mug, stirring constantly.
Pour the steamed milk into your coffee.
Enjoy your mocha latte topped with whipped cream and drizzle the rest of the chocolate syrup on top, or sprinkle some cocoa powder on it if you like.
