Ingredients

  • 60 ml espresso (2 shots)
  • 200 ml steamed milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup

Optional

  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp whipped cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Brew 2 shots of espresso (doppio) and set it aside to cool slightly.
  • Steam milk any way you like. If you don't have a milk steamer, it's easiest to use a small saucepan and heat the milk over medium heat until it's scalding.
  • Add half of the chocolate syrup and optionally the sugar to your mug. You can substitute the chocolate syrup with cocoa powder.
  • Gradually pour the brewed coffee into the mug, stirring constantly.
  • Pour the steamed milk into your coffee.
  • Enjoy your mocha latte topped with whipped cream and drizzle the rest of the chocolate syrup on top, or sprinkle some cocoa powder on it if you like.
