- Grind 40g of coffee to a finer grind size than the typical Chemex size. 
- Rinse the Chemex filter using cold tap water. 
- Put about 340 grams of ice into the Chemex. 
- Add the ground coffee to the Chemex filter. 
- Bloom the coffee for 1 minute by pouring 100 grams of hot water over the grounds. 
- Pour hot water in 50g increments, slowly and carefully. 
- The total brew time is 4-5 minutes. 
- Swirl the brewed coffee to melt any remaining ice. 
- Serve the coffee over a ice cubes .
