Brew Like a Barista: The Ultimate Guide to Making Iced Coffee with A Chemex
The Chemex makes specialty iced coffee that will satisfy the finest of coffee nerds. Here is the recipe.

- 40 g Freshly ground coffee beans (medium-dark roasts)
- 340 g Ice cubes
- 300 g Water
Grind 40g of coffee to a finer grind size than the typical Chemex size.
Rinse the Chemex filter using cold tap water.
Put about 340 grams of ice into the Chemex.
Add the ground coffee to the Chemex filter.
Bloom the coffee for 1 minute by pouring 100 grams of hot water over the grounds.
Pour hot water in 50g increments, slowly and carefully.
The total brew time is 4-5 minutes.
Swirl the brewed coffee to melt any remaining ice.
Serve the coffee over a ice cubes .
